What is the JGVL?
A COED Youth Volleyball League designed specifically for kids.
Who is it precisely for?
2nd - 8th grade (boys & girls)
Upper & Lower level leagues (based on age, experience)
The goal is getting them practicing and playing games in a fun environment.
When is the action?
Practices Friday night at Pinnacle (Victor) from 7:30 to 8:30pm
Games Sunday evenings at Victor (6-8pm)

What is different about this league?
There is often hesitation to try new sports because of the learning curve compared to kids that have already been playing and factor in competitive events.
We use modified rules to bridge this gap, specifically within volleyball the service is challenging for newer players to execute and to physically pass comparative to kids that have been playing. To overcome this challenge we use modified rules.
- Service location is determined by the coach
- Service is limited to 2 max and then transition to coaches toss
- 2 point balls (1 given to each coach per game)
- Mandatory music while playing
- Time out music take over allowable
